Well, I cannot answer, due to the fact that I only use a full-face helmet - my preference and choice - I believe in function over fashion, and nothing functions better than a full-face IMHO... but , to each their own
Currently using the HJC CL-Max...
Well c'mon, nothing's more functional than a car, right? Especially them new Toyotas that drive themselves...

Precisely! If you are going to ride on a vehicle that it less protective than a cage, wouldn't it be best to wear the most protective gear available? Just the way I look at it, and my choice, but to each their own...
BTW, I look like the "Tron" guy on a Harley (full face helmet, gloves, riding jacket with armor, and riding pants with armor - even in the dog days of summer)... not the typically HD Biker look, if I do say so myself...
Speaking of Toyotas, there were two times on my ride this past weekend were I caught at a red light, looked in my mirrors as I was stopping and saw a Prius coming up quick behind me (and I couldn't change lanes)... talk about "pucker" factor! LOL!
I wear a Fulmer V2 helmet. Nice and light and very low profile on your head. DOT approved. Google Fulmer Helmets and check them out. Reasonably priced too.
Wife and I both wear NEXX X60's. After looking for weeks, we decided on them, and they are ultra light weight. They are both hanging on the bike in my sig pic, FYI.
Matte black IS-33 by HJC here. It is a great do everything helmet. It's comfortable and ventilates well with the shield down and the sun visor is a great alternative to wearing uncomfortable sun glasses. It also helps smooth out the airflow and reduces buffeting with my stock windshield on my Street Glide.
HJC AC3 Carbon with visor, nice helmet, Nolan full face, and an older Shoei. The carbon is the lightest by far, but a little narrow at first in the face during breakin. The Nolan full face is good in the winter, but rattles some. The old Shoei has seen 25 years worth of service and is still my go to comfort helmet for long trips. If I could have found a Shoei platinum locally to try on I probably wouldn't have the HJC AC3 helmet.
I have a HJC, have had Nolan's in the past...but I like my Fulmer the best, mostly because of the large ear pockets for headset speakers...very comfortable....
