+1 on the Scorpion. All the other helmet mentioned are great helmets. The features of the Scorpion sold me. The drop down visor comes in very handy. The removable washable liner is is nice too.
Does this brand fit tighter than the standard sizes? I had to send back the EXO200 ordered because an XL squeezed my face so badly it became painful. I measure 24.5", yet no fit.

A Shoei J-Wing which I wired for comm and sound. See if you can get to a shop to try some on as many of may have a preference understandably based on a particular helmet that fits our head. I've always liked the way the shields fit on a Shoei because the wind blows around the mechanism rather than into it like the Arai's. I've also seen some Scorpion helmets that seem well done, though I haven't had the opportunity to try one on 'cause I'm not in the market right now. They are one of the brands that are are putting flip-down shields inside the helmets. Some are cheesy, some are not, the Scorpion one I saw appeared it might prove simple and reliable.

With today's offering, you probably can't go wrong with any of them. Check the manufacturer's websites for weights, they're often listed.

Good luck.

Cool

I have a Bell R/T. It is the lightest helmet I could find. It fits good, and the Bell
quality to value seems good. cost= $59.95 oh, little over 2 lbs.
I also looked at the HJC AC-3, almost 3 lbs

Really thinking hard about the NEXX X-60 Air. Great reviews on it everywhere I look. Tried one on in California, but didn't get it when I could have.
