Default Fat Daddys

Thinking about new wheels,I like the looks of the Fat Daddys but they're so heavy compared to an aluminum wheel! Do you think it will affect handling?

I've run the Fat Daddy 18's on my RG and now run the DNA Mammoth Spokes on my EG Classic. Sure they are heavy by comparison and you'll notice it in slow slow turns or even just moving the bike around a bit. Other than that, no issues for me. I'm running the sealed version and the DNA's are MUCH less costly and the quality is top notch. I went with the diamond cut this go round and couldn't be happier.

The FatDaddy sure is a stunner of a wheel without a doubt. I love the look.

I too run the DNA Mammoth spokes. The first thing I noticed when I put the front wheel on was how heavy it felt. But after a few rides I was used to it. I ride my bike jsut as I did before I put these wheels on. I do a lot of canyon riding and I like to push my bike (at least until it scrapes). It runs great. Although I have the DNA mammoth spokes I recommend the Ride Wrights now due reading about numerous issues people here on the forums have had. After reading about the guy who lost all the air in his front tire getting on the highway I put a tube in my front real quick. It's really like anything else, it may take a bit to get used to but you will enjoy it.
