Default Hogtunes question
Last year I installed the rear speakers on my Ultra and noticed that they were not as loud as the stock speakers, but definitely clearer. Last night I installed the front speakers and amp, and now the difference between the front and rear speakers is even more pronounced. Is this normal? Lastly, I noticed after installing the front speakers and amp, when the volume is all the way down there is a "hissing" sound coming from the speakers.

I have J&M's on mine...however no amp...and haven't had that problem. Did you check the fader setting on the stereo? I know that is probably a dumb question...but might be the first thing to check.

I had to adjust the fader quite a bit just to get it evened out.

Weird...I am told the Hogtunes folks have pretty good customer support. You might want to give them a call and see if they can give you some things to look at.
