I am coming back to the states on vacation from work and already have a pretty full dance card for the 25 days that I am going to be there. I have been advised by the wife that we are driving from home (Show Low, Az) to the Buffalo, NY area to visit with family for a week. My question is would it be worth it to swing by the HD Museum on the way home? It only adds a little over 200 miles to the trip. If I only had 3-5 hrs to check the museum out would it be worth it, or should I save it for another time (unknown when that might be) and take more time to enjoy it?
Any and all input welcome, thanks in advance.

Well.. I live here and still havent been to it yet. But I have friends who have and tell me it is awesome. The ones who arent even riders say its great.. Will be going this yr for sure..no doubt about it..
Although.....I would try and plan a whole day for it..
I went there last summer, it was pretty cool. I'd try to give yourself a whole day at least though. It can be done in the time you mentioned 3-5 hours, but don't plan on reading everything in the place. That's enough time if you just plan on "looking" at stuff. Have fun if you do stop. The food was good also.
I was there last summer when I went back to visit family in Madison, WI. I definately would make the stop. I took my dad who is not a biker but a gear head and he really enjoyed it as well. We took a little over half a day and it was plenty of time to go thru just the museum, a full day may be better but it can be done in less time. Enjoy the time off work and travel safe
We went last year and even with the headset for the audio on the tour I think 3-5 hours should be plenty to see the muesum. We took our time which isn't always so easy with the Mrs. at a guy's museum but I doubt we were there more than 3-4 hours
