Have extremely fine 2003 Ultra classic anniversary edition only 4000 miles with reinharts, chrome front end. power commander, screamin eagle air Black. and 2003 anniversary edition Fatboy Gunmetal pearl blue. Also chrom front vance & Hines Chrome factory wheels passing lights very low miles. Both garage kept and covered.
Thinking of maybe trading both in or selling outright for a brand new Ultra Limited. I heard the 2009 and newer has better ride with the new frame.
Any thoughts ?

I'd try a Bagger Brace first. Don't ride much, do ya?
Actually I Ride a whole lot and have for thirty years. Theses are two of my bikes that I wouldnt mind parting with, yes and I havn't ridden either one of these alot. They are part of my collection. I was on the anniversary kick for awhile, like alot of other people. Then realized the anniversary edition was more hype than anything. Value is no more for 2003 than any other year.
By the way what the hell is a bagger brace.
Stop thinking so small. Alot of guys have alot of machines other than the ones in a particular post. But not being a biker isn't cool to someone you dont even know.

Go with a private sale on both then go buy your 2010. I'm not sure what a dealer would give you for both but it's probably low. Good luck. Ride safe.
In my honest opinion, I would ride the one you are thinking about getting before making a decision. I had an 09 EGC. I put almost 14000 miles on it before selling it. I wanted the 2010 Limited, but after thinking about it and the money, I bought an 08 UC anni edition with ABS. I wanted ABS!
I personnally didn't see that big a difference in the ride. JMO
I have had an 09 Stretglide with the 13" shocks and an 06 Ultra with the 13" shocks...
FWIW the 06 was a smoother riding bike over the 09 version...yea the fat tire is a great feature but if your vertically challenged the the 09-10 will get challenging to reach the ground flat footed...
The power the 88 is achievable to get the level of performance that the 96"'s are capable of with little expense out of pocket...
IMHO stay with what you have...sell the other fatboy and take those proceeds and fix the Ultra up to achieve the performance level you desire and if you want get your self a 6 speed baker and enjoy the ride of the 03...

Do a search here or Google Bagger Brace.
OK - thinking big now - keep the ones you have AND buy a Limited! You've pretty well ridden the depreciation train into the station, so you might as well keep the 2003s until the value goes up. If HD has to go to liquid cooled, they might be worth lots!
