I bought a 04 RKC new, in the third year (of course after the warrenty ran out) the skirting part of my seat (the imitation leather looking stuff that covers the seat where it looks like the front section and the back come together) dry rotted, got seriously brittle and slowly just shredded apart.
Thought this was just me, so I bought another on ebay and the exact same thing happened. Now I got two seats that look like crap.
Would like to get something else but hate to pay 400+ for a seat.
Battlefield Harley in Gettysburg, Pa. said they never seen anything like it.
I noticed in 05 the skirting is made of a different material.
