I dunno if anyone has experienced this , but when I lean the bike to turn , I get the grinding feeling at the handle bars, could it be motor mount? or bearing or is this just normal?
thanks
My 09 felt like this when I had the 407 dunlop tire that was cupped on the front. check the forum for the recall information. If you do not have this tire it could be front wheel bearings.
My '03 started this awhile back, I have the cursed 402 Dunlops, seem they have this issue. I have checked and rechecked everything else. I am awaiting the wear out on my rear tire and may change both to E3's.

Yep,it probably is the tires, they wear smooth in the center of the tread and the outsides still have alot of tead on them and are only in contact with the road during leaning turns,Mine stopped when I replaced the tires.
Rub your hand over the tire. If it's cupped, you'll feel a difference in the tread. If it isn't cupped, I'd lift it off the wheels and check for play in the bearings. Also, rotate the tires by hand and see if there is any unusual noise (grinding or rough feel).
The grinding I get when riding hard in curves is the floor board supports on the pavement. If yours are worn down, that could be what's going on. (???)

Nah I'm not talking about hard cornering, this feeling I get as soon as I lean the bike even a tiny bit, and it's constant as long as the bike is leaned, I can distinguish that from the floorboard scraping which only happened to me only a few times.
I am beginning to believe it is the tires, gonna go down and check them now and might as well get the sizes and start looking at my options, they do have already 7500 miles on them.
