go with that motorcycle armor when you get the scuffs out. I have seen this stuff done on cars and if its done right you wont even know its there-stuff looks great and pretects from scratches, chips, etc.

I used a Mother's Was w/ cleaner which worked great, I then purchased the clear protective sheet which can be custom fitted to the lid of the bag. Work and look great.

i used harley scratch and swirl remover. it removes them easily and is not a harsh abrasive like most are. you gotta remember though that there is only so much clearcoat on the paint, so be careful. after using any abrasive be sure to wax the surface after wiping all traces of the compound off. the waxing will help to seal the surface. i've even considered getting my lids rhino lined with truck bed liner. just a thought, not sure if it'd make it look like a tractor or would look acceptable.

Heck half the scratches and boot marks in mine were created by me, can't blame it all on the wife. I god bad hips, knees and feet, some days I am lucky just to get my leg up high enough to swing it over the seat, let alone worry about hitting the bag. Gonnas have to try some of these fixes, just don't want to do covers though. I just don't like the way they look.

Tried some of the Meguires cleaner wax, seemed to remove it somewhat, but could still see it. Went to the auto zone and bought a bottle of Maguires scratch x 2.0, it is a micro abbrasive so i didnt get to aggresive with it. Scuffs are 90% gone, followed up with a coat of Turtle wax Black. Thanks !
