07 Screamin Eagle Road King [updated with PICS]
And then they unloaded a Candy Red SE Springer. Damn that bike looked nice. The pics on HD's site does not do the CVO's justice.
After I drooled on that off came a Cobalt SE Road King. Holy crap. The bike looks plain awsome. Again, nothing like the pics on HD's site. There is goldleafing effect to the blue and the white looks almost like a satin sheet. VERY IMPRESSIVE.
The other good news is that I went from 3rd on their list for a SERK to #2. A guy ahead of me backed out. They have 2 bikes on the way. I'm hoping for the Black/Pewter but after seeing the blue I may change my mind.
BTW, this will be my first HD. After wanting one for 20 yrs I'm at a point in my life where I can do it. The wait is horrible.

I'll try to get better pictures this weekend. I only had my cell phone with me and the pictures are not worth posting.
hehe...
Yea...No baby steps....I'm a big boy now...

My wife was against the bike (the whole you have 2 little kids, blah blah) so in all the confusion I almost ordered a vette instead. Luckly my wife said it's nuts to pay that much for a car.
So now I tell her that I saved us $30,000 by ordering the SE RK...
She didn't have a comeback - thank god.
After I left the dealership today it started raining pretty hard. I see a new 07 RK stardard go by the gas startion I was at (it was one of the demo bikes - must have known someone at the dealershp b/c the demo rides aren't until this weekend). Anyway, this guy rounds the corner, jams on the throttle and brings the *** end around, and the guy keeps on the throttle as if he was on a dirt flat track, rides it out and continues on. I watch him about 1/2 block down cross the rainroad tracks and it appeared that he bike caught air, still on the throttle. The new exhaust did have a nice deep roar to it under acceleration.
The best part about it was this guy must of been in his mid to late 40's, possibly into early 50's, had a decent beer belly and was wearing a silver and red motorcross helmet.
I have to give him credit though, he handles that bike like a champ.
Overall, it was quite the day.

I don't think you'll have a problem keeping up. It will be hard to see though from the huge grin on my face.
