Was also thinking of ordering one to replace the stock seat on my 08 Ultra. 18K and it think it the padding is thinning down as it is starting to bother me.
Anyone know if all new RZ's have the 2 chambers front and 1 rear? I know the 09 and 10 have just the 2 and 1 chambers but was hoping the RZ for the 08 would have the 3 and 2. Anyone know?
For the owners of the new version, how is it with the vinyl covering? I'm seriously considering this seat, as well as a Corbin. The Corbin is winning out at the moment because it's leather, which will breathe better.
How wide is the nose on the RZ.. I read that they redesigned 2008/09/10 so that the nose is narrow for easy standing.. I have a 31" inch inseam so a little worried about the hip spread making it hard to stand.
I bought a air zepplin seat when I took delivery on a 2010 rg....not a bad seat, much better than stock, but ended up replacing it with the new Mustang tour seat w/ backrest. will sell air seat w/ matching tour pack passenger backrest for $400.00. call me 440-477-6532 Steve
P&A catalogue says the new ones are 20" wide so maybe easier to reach the ground from. I know I like to straddle my bike and reach down to put a chunk of plywood under my stand when parking on soft ground and I don't want to make that any more difficult than it already is!
I ordered one today for $564 plus tax, and they are backorder from Harley
Everything I have bought from Harley has been back ordered this year! I ordered a windshield bag first part of July and still haven't seen it. Parts guy say they should hit the store about the middle of August
I have the zep on my 08 ultra, love the seat. had the mean city seat and didn't like it. even called to make sure i had the double stuffing because seemed like i was down to base of seat, could be my fat a$$. I got no responce so i went with the zep. now i'm a zep head, or at least a zep ***. got it when the dealer had 25% off was good deal.
