Absolutely worth it, IMHO. I actually had to wait 2 months to get my bike because I insisted on having ABS. My dealer was ordering 90% of the bikes without it because no one was willing to pay for it. It's come on a couple of times, mainly slowing down for a light on washboard road surfaces, but it's nice knowing that it's there if I ever really need it.

I also expect a higher re-sale when I go to sell because I'll have ABS.

I have it on my Limited, and it's one of the reasons I bought it rather than a UC. The way I look at it...better to have it and not need it that need it and not have it.

Put them to use this morning. I'm in Houston, TX, not known for having the smartest drivers in the world. I ride to work every morning that its not raining. I have about 2 miles of intense merging traffic before I get to the HOV lane. This morning I'm in the right hand lane when this idiot cuts around the car that was to my right and slightly ahead of me on the on ramp. The idiot cut in too soon causing the guy to my right to swerve left into my front wheel. This was an emergency braking situation for sure. I hit front and rear hard. ABS activated, I didn't go down, the car didn't hit me, and I didn't get hit from behind. I don't know if I would have gone down or not without ABS but I do know that both wheels would have locked up. Fortunately, in this situation the only damage was the hole my a$$ sucked out of the seat.

Yes.
I haven't engaged my ABS yet since I bought my bike but if I need it just one time it will be well worth it!!!

I respect those that don't want it. This is still a free country, at least for a little while longer. I have it on my 08 and it has saved my butt a couple times. For me it is one more thing I can do to keep the odds of having a accident more in my favor.
