Default Front lowering kit for 07 Road King

Has anyone had any experience with lowering a front end on a road king? i put a lowering kit in the rear last year and its great, now i want to do the front with Progressive suspension springs but i have heard a lot of stories about the front end bottoming out. Also will the floorboards scrape on tight turns and will i need to change the kickstand? Thanks Steve

I have used Progressive's front end lowering kit on two bikes -- 05 Road King Custom and 09 Road King Classic. I lowered each 1". I did not have any bottoming out problems or scraping (although that may depend on riding style). Did not need to adjust or change kickstand. Bikes rode very slightly stiffer -- barely perceptible and you get used to it right away.

I have Harley's 1" lowering kit on my bike and it doesn't bottom out. I sure it probably scraps a little more than before but I don't ride like a kook so mine don't scrap very often, kick stand is no problem.

no problem with the HD front lowering kit on my 09 SG. I used the HD Screamin Eagle Fork Oil when the kit was installed.
