Default Changed Rear Shocks FLHXI?

Has any one here changed out the rear shocks on their FLHXI? And if so to which shock and what size? I just purchased my Street Glide recently and have found myself not pleased with the stock 11.5in shocks. I am a fairly big guy and ride with my girl and my tour pack often and find that we need some more space in the shock height.
I am torn between the Progressive 440 I.A.S. 13.5in Heavy Dutys and the New Progressive 940 Touring shocks.
Was hoping someone here would have some good input on any of these shocks.

Thanks!

I went with 13 1/4" Ohlins on my Flhx to replace the 12" shocks that came on my 08

ohlins from what i understand are far superior to the progressives in every way. i've got an 08 streetglide, and that's going to be the next mod, is real full length shocks rather than the type that look cool going down the boulevard. i'm 6'4" tall so raising the rear of my bike will not hinder anything for me. it seems that the current trend is to drop the bike, thereby degrading not only the ride but handling as well. after studying every possibility we have available to us, i've decided on stock length electraglide shocks, ohlins for my streetglide. cost of a premium shock isn't cheap, but an alternative is to find someone who has an ultra or other electaglide and swap with them. you'll gain an inch of travel that way, and their bike will be lowered, looking cool but riding like crap.

Ricor offers shocks in stock FLHX lengths and longer. Truthfully, any longer-stroke shock is going to ride better.

Bought a set of stock Ultra take-offs for half price from my dealer, and I'm very pleased. Kind of a bitch to keep the air at the right pressure, but other than that the ride quality is very good. Nothing to complain about, anyway.

The rear is now level with the front and no longer lowered. Nothing I really notice, looks wise, but the handling is much better with intended steering geometry as well as great lean angles.
