"You're having a 117" engine built for you. I hope you will do as Phil did and post pictures of how the engine was assembled, what components you used, and how the bike behaves after the engine is installed and you've gotten some miles on it."
Why does posting pictures have to do with talking about engine builds?
Mark, I sent you a PM. If you don't want to post pictures of your 117" project, take a few moments and type out what you are getting: headwork (by whom and what type); cams; exhaust; pistons; throttle body, injectors, cylinders, crank work and anything else you would like to share. I'm sure your project will garner significant interest. As you can see, the view count on PhilM's Project 124 exceeds 10,000 views.
I was going to post the normal things in the signature like everyone else has done but i feel now since having these discussions that what you have in your motor is not really important but as long as you enjoy riding your build that is all that matters.
I was told my 117ci will be around 120hp and 123torque and you know what that is going to be ok with me because i will be happy riding it.I think if you trust your builder he should know what the numbers going to be so you don't need to find out what they are.

as with most electronics and things mechanical they can all be tweaked. i'm of the belief that some dyno machines or software are tweaked to bring up numbers that are higher than the ones another dyno across town will do on the same bike. i'm guessing that the one coming up with the higher numbers sells more dyno tunes, ya think? after all if you know that at the other shop you'll get 10 hp and 10 ft lbs of torque more than the first shop, you're going to want to go to the dyno that gives you the better numbers. i'm really happy having 98.56 hp and 103.98 ft lbs of torque in my 103 build.
