Generally, I hang out over on the Softail forum, but I am in the process do making some mods to my bike which involve a lot of Street Glide parts and I have a question for you guys.
I will be running a stock Fatboy rear fender with hard bags and a Street Glide fender extension/bag filler panels attached to the fender. I did order the upgraded tri bar LED light for the extension which has both run and brake. I will also be using a turn signal setup similar to what is stock on a Street Glide.
My question is, has anyone removed their stock tail light, and installed their license plate in its spot and just left the stock signals on there and used the fender extension LED as their tail light/brake light? How is visibility going with this route?
