Default A tragic reminder.

This is a tragic reminder to always be aware of what's going on around you. ALWAYS watch your mirrors and have an escape route at every stop light.

Keep these riders and families in your prayers.

Seems to be a strong arguement for Bright *** Lights (or stronger). Nine sets of them perhaps would have gotten the truck driver's attention. I'm certain I can now convense my wife I need a set.

RIP Bro's and Sister AZ Riders. Pray for the wounded and their families.

A True Tragedy.. 8 Experienced Riders .. Not sure what all could have been done to avoid this when stopped, with traffic in front of them as well .. Hopefully enough of a stink about this is raised to at least make others aware that were normally oblivious to their surrounding when driving .. 1 second can make all the difference in the world between having an accident or avoiding one..

Got a BAL myself. It was one of the 1st things I put on the SG, as I have also been rear ended at a red light.
Just ordered some 80/100 Watt Osram H4 headlgiht bulbs too.
I like to be seen and heard when necessary.

Emergency Vehicles with their lights on and flashing have been hit plenty on the road .. Will take more than bright lights to put a stop to this thing happening ...

Shuffling papers? WTF?

I agree with the earlier comment about Bright *** Lights not helping (Although any extra attention is worth the money). The truck driver was an accident waiting to happen. If he had not hit the Bikes he would have ran the red light and hit someone out there. Man I hope he gets more then a ticket, what he did was criminal!

WOW!

Yep; anything to help you get seen. As I said earliler I have been ran into at a red light. The person who run into me saw me at the last second though.

I feel for all of the people and families that were effected by this, even including the driver who has to live with himself.
He will have to re-live this every day constantly for the rest of his life, as will his family of which this will probably cause him to go mad, become an alcoholic or drug addict or possibly take his own life.

Default Ten motorcycles

If the truck driver did not see taillights on ten motorcycles what the heck do you think you can put on yours to help? This is a horrible accident i feel very bad. A lot of times i pull over to the side behind the stopped vehical at lights if i can just so i don't feel trapped behind it if someone is not paying attention. Don't know if i'm any more safe but thats what i do.
