Hoping someone can help. For those that have the skull axle nut caps on your bike OR a similar style with spacers. I bought a pair of gloss black caps for mine. BUT, they are NOT made to fit an 06 so I need to adapt them. I got a hold of the install instructions for the Skull Axle caps courtest of Dawg which is Moco Kit number 43163-08A. In the attached photo are spacers identified as A and 1. I need to basically make up a set so the caps will work on my bike.
What I need to know ideally is:
The overall diameter of the spacer
The overall length of the spacer
The approximate thickness of the spacer
Once I've got this, a quick trip over to Lowe's will get me right. As is, the right side fits nicely but the left side is an entirely different story so I can see the need for a spacer.
