Default Road Glide Bezel?

As I understand it, getting rid of the clear headlight cover and switching to the bezel units which just surround the double headlights requires more than just the bezel. Is this right? Is so, what parts are needed to eliminate that lens....I hate it, as water and dirt get behind it and it's tough to keep clean. Is69988-09 the right bezel part number?

Looks like part number 69988-09 is the matte-finish version, while 69987-09 is the gloss black version. My question still stands - any else needed to lose the clear lens and install this bezel?

Yeah, eBay is where I'm looking at this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

So this will pop right into an '09 with no other parts needed?

I have this installed on my 08 and I had to move the headlights back a little to install it, but once in there I could readjust the headlights and no problems so far.

and i was thinking of going the other way. the 2010 doesn't come with the clear lens over and it seems like that would be an area that would get really matted up with bugs. how hard is it to remove to clean?
