I see that J&M has released its new amplifier. Anyone out there have any practical experience with it? How straightforward is the installation? Very curious how it impacts the sound of the new 7.25 JM speakers. Thanx for the feedback...
Just received the J&M 7.25's ($219) and really wanted there amp too but couldn't afford it $349. What I could afford was the Elf E2125x for $200. I should receive it by Sat. and will install both the speakers and amp at that time. I will let you guy's know how it turns out when done and if I'm feeling creative I'll take some pictures as well... The Elf gets pretty good reviews from other forum members so I'll keep my fingers crossed that this setup will rock....
$420 for amp and speakers, not too bad....Like I said, I would love to have the J&M amp but allittle too pricy..
Props to Dr. V-Twin for great service and getting these speakers to me fast..
Will definately do business with them again if these speakers sound as good as they say!!!
We will be posting a full review with all specs and info along with pics once they have been installed on Shawn and Al's bike. It should be any day now that we will be doing this. Just so you guys know, the retail on the amp is $449. But as with all J&M products, we find they are worth the cost. Drew
I am going to subscribe to the thread too. I already have an Arc KS125.2 mini amp and ordered the J&M 7.25 speakers. Now I am wondering the best way to setup the tuning on the amp. I have the HD HK head unit with preamps added by Iron Cross.
Any suggestions from someone who has setup an amp with these speakers would be appreciated. Gain - crossover, bass boost setting....
