Default Lift table question

I bought one of the Harbor Freight lift tables and have run into a question I hadn't thought of when trying to decide between a table and a jack -- how do you get the bike on the table without dropping it? The table is 6 1/2" high. It has a short ramp, but pushing a 750+ pound bike up there is a chore. I decided to wait till a friend came over before trying again to get the bike on the table. Good thing! Dang near dropped the bike on its side. After catching our breaths we tried again and everything went OK. Once the bike was on the table and it was jacked up and the safety bar put in, it was rock solid. Gonna be a real back saver. However, I don't want to have to wait until a friend comes over (don't have many so it would really screw up my wrenching schedule) to be able to use the table. How do you all get the bike up on the table without risking dumping it?

you can get the extension wings or make some small platforms to place on each side of the lift for your feet to reach and then just ride it up.

I got a direct lift,, I've never had a problem & my heavest bike is a 09 street glide ... what maybe 900 + lbs??? I did make a little wooden ramp to help ease the angle...2X6 I load mine by my self...be carefull, if your not sure about it have a friend close by till you can go it with ease..

The directions are kind of unclear (probably an issue with translation from Chinese).
Here is the method I use.
1. Tip the table on its side.
2. Park your bike next to the table.
3. Don't put the jiffy stand down just get off.
4. Strap the bike to the table.
5. Stand the table up with the bike on it.

I have always rode mine onto the the table. Once on the table slowly drive front tire into wheel vise that has been pre set to just the right fit to hold bike as I step off bike and secure vice.
