Default What a difference 1" makes!!!

Ordered the Soos 1" rider floorboard extensions from http://www.mike5959.com/Soos/productshdf.html last Monday and they arrived last Thursday. I was planning to wait and install them next week when the tru-duals came in but I couldn't wait. I'm glad I didn't wait... what an amazing difference 1" makes in overall comfort and handling. As has been reported before the extensions are beautifully powder-coated and top quality. Installation was straight forward and took about 20 minutes but was made easier by the addition of an extra pair of hands. I went for a ride "around the block" after installing them to "test them out" and came home an hour later. I had no idea that something as simple as moving the floorboards out an inch could transform the feel of the Ultra. My feet now fit almost completely on the boards without my legs touching the tank or feeling crowded. Also the ability to place my feet ON the boards as opposed to Half-On aids in cornering since I no longer have to be concerned about my boots rubbing before the boards themselves. They should also help to keep my new duals free of boot rubber in the miles to come. I can think of a few people that will be receiving these as gifts this year. Thank you Soos for a fantastic product that I recommend HIGHLY to all those considering extensions.

I am going to make a1 1/2" set and try them out

The other thing is I am not real aggressive in a turn, so scraping isn't an issue
I know someone will comment on that
