Default ATF Type?

A question for those of you running ATF in the primary. Does it matter if you use Ford or Chevy type? I've read enough about it to make me want to give it a try, just not sure which type to use.

Thanks

I use the plain old NAPA stuff that says it's OK for Ford. Works fine.

I dunno about in a bagger, but I doubt there would be much difference than using it in any other model. I use B&M Trick Shift, cost a little more, but after years of racing an automatic transmission we had fewer failures with it than any other brand, so I am sold on it.

Thumbs up

$3-$4 bucks at O'Reilly's, Advance Auto, PepBoys or whatever auto store is available. This works better than the Redline MTL I used to use. Clutch engagement and shifts are noticably smoother.
