My 2008 FLHR was under a bike cover all winter in KY. When I tried to start it, nothing happened when I pushed the button:
Yes it was in neutral; the battery was fully charged; no blown fuses.
All that happens is that the directional arrows blink alternately. There is no sound at all, not even as if it was trying to start.
Any thoughts here would be helpful. I’m over 100 miles from my dealer so a home fix would be the bast thing,
Thanks Guys and Gals
I could be wrong, but the blinking of the turn signals back and forth sounds like the alarm has engaged. Have you tried changing the battery in your key fob? I don't have a lot of experience, but I do recognize the flashing of the turnsignals from when I go out to my bike and try something without my keyfob.
that was mentioned in the shop manual but I thought since it allowed the light and horn to work it was Ok. I will change the battery and see. It sounds like the answer once I think about it.Thanks so much!!
