I've got RC Component Czar wheels and Metzler tires. I did a 21''/18'' set up and I like it okay. The handling is fine, but I lowered the front to put it closer to the stock geometry and it helped alot. If I had it to do over I'd do a 18''/16'' just so I could get the bike lower. And these guys have given good advise, tape a pc of 1/4'' tube to the center of the tire and spin it slowly and listen for rubbing. If it does you can drill out the rear holes as mentioned or buy a fender lift from FBI or KlockWerks. I changed my whole front end and the new one came with the fender riser.
