Default Windshield Fit.

I have a question for you all about how a windshield should fit on my Road King. When I bought my 05 RK Custom it came with a quick detach short, smoked wind screen. My bike is set up with the windshiled mounting hardware. I just picked up a 20" factory screen for a pretty good price. It came off an 03 RKC. The shield is in great shape and once it is on it fits perfect. They only question I have is about putting it on. My small shield slides right into the docking hardware. The larger one, I have to put one side in, and flex it a little to put it in the other side.

This does not require any excessive force, but it does make me have to bow the windshield a little. I just wanted to see if this is normal or if it is the wrong size? The brackets os both windshields look the same. The larger ones just look to be made angled out a little. From what I can tell on the MOCO site HD has been using the same windshields since around 94. I think I have it right but just wanted to see what you all thought.

Thanks for your time once again,

Adam

yeah, thats normal. If anything, its better b/c it kinda locks it in a little better. the bigger windshields have been known to get blown off by a passing semi when the SD police have you pulled over...ask me how I know.
