It's designed to push in, but I used a nut on the inside of the fairing and it worked really well.

What size plug do you use? I have the fairing mount mirrors and are not that pleased with my line of site with them.

They are in that section with all the specialty bolts/wood screws/metal screws. There are lots of drawers with pictures on the front......and it says Fender Washers.

My Lowes you walk straight once you walk in the front door.

Thanks...blew through that section without looking at the drawers...assumed everything was metal in there. Oops.

I'm in the same boat. Just thinking that it would be nice if someone made a fairing mount mirror or adapter that would drop the mirror a couple inches.

I got a fresh set off a 2009 Streetglide with 1200 miles on them. Look new. Bolts and all. Not sure what there worth, PM me an offer. They can go in a USPS flatrate box so shipping is cheap.

I had the Split Vision Mirrors on my '11 Ultra Classic for a while and really liked them. They gave a great field of view and the small blindspot mirrors were very useful. I actually replaced them with the chrome fairing mount mirrors. Interesting how different strokes for different folks! BTW, the Split Visions are like new if you're interested....
