I have the Harley ones. I bought them one at a time so it didn't hurt as bad......... LOL. Anyway, I think they are worth the money, had them for about 6 years and they still look new. They fit right and don't move around so I don't worry about paint damage. I would buy them again. Be Safe JIM
I had the River Roads on mine..but took them off...they were rubbing the side panel....and now that I have powder coated guards I doubt if I will use them again....but they were great when I did use them.

Ditto. Had them on my '07, just now put them on my '10.
I bought the River Road ones myself. Took them out of the package and was in the process of unsnapping them and had one of the snaps on both bags pull out of the pvc material. I was a little disappointed after hearing such good reviews about their jackets and such.
I had a couple of extra snaps laying around so I fixed them myself. Kind of a PIA to get on even after using a blow dryer to soften the material up. Punched a couple of holes in each bag one on top and one on the bottom then used a zip tie to secure them to the guards just in case. This also helps to keep them from moving around so much.
Only bought them for an upcoming trip next week and will probably take them off as soon as I get back.
There nice to have though and give you a little bit more storage room but if I were planning on leaving them on for any extended period of time I'd go with the HD one's since they are made of leather and the River Roads are PVC and not very well made if you ask me.
I was thinking of getting these for my FLHT, $140 for the pair seems a bit much then I noticed River Road has some for 1/2 that.
I was wondering if anyone has them or another after market pair they would recommend.
My opinion is since my passenger regularly complains that her legs rub against the saddlebag guard bars, I think adding bags there would only create a bigger problem for her.
Plus, we have enough storage between the TourPak, the 2 saddlebags and the T-Bags windshield pouches.
Again, just my opinion based on our experience. If you ride mostly solo, then your situation is different.
