I've been interested in putting something like this on my Roadglide for some extra lighting, but they are pricey, and I'm concerned with the durability for the lens and finish considering they're so close to the pavement (rocks/dirt etc...) I'll probably upgrade the bulbs in my RG lamps before I did this addition, but I'm curious if anyone has any experiences with these, or any similar product. Also, does anyone know of any less expensive models.
Note: I do have fairing lowers, so crash bar mounted lights are not an option
I upgraded my headlights to HID it helped out alot! Cost was about $500, I also have the HD fog lights to add some fill lighting in (I know you cant use them with the lowers)
Do a search on this forum site for SILVERSTAR bulbs. I also was going to buy the motolights, but after changing the headlight and passing lamps to silverstars there no reason to buy more driving lights.
Yah, I prolly will go ahead and pickup some Silverstars, or the like. The 500 bucks for the HID's seems a bit much though. Has anyone actually used or known anyone who used the caliper mounted lights?
