Does any of your stock FLHTK's seem like they don't run all that well? I bought one in Oct., didn't get to ride much last fall and started to ride this year only to be disappointed with the 103. It is bone stock. I have rode some with the 96CI and seriously believe a 96 runs alot better than my 103. It doesn't seem to run all that great. This is my first HD. I previously had a 1984 Yamaha Venture 1200 that I rode for about 8 yrs and I know it will outperform the 103 by a long shot. I love the bike as far as the ride and handling but not at all impressed with the engine. Was thinking about going with Rineharts, tuner, and A/C. What will this do for the bike? By the way it is not throwing any codes. Not bashing Harley at all just wanting to know if something may be wrong with my bike.

My frame of reference is coming off an Evo - so the 103 is plenty more motor than I'm used to.
That said, there are plenty of guys here running different configs. I will go with a PCV and a new A/C from Jamie at Fuelmoto, and keep my SE street performance slip-ons for now. Just waiting for a few extra bux to come my way.
Here is an excellent write-up in the 103 done by Jamie. Hope this helps you understand what it is stock, and what the potential is.
My previous ride was an '07 EG Classic, with Stage-1 on the 96 cu in. On my 2010 Limited, without the Stage-1, I've noticed a nice boost. I'm sure it will be even better once I install the Fuelmoto Stage-1 & Jackpots.
Yup, you definitely need to do a Stage 1, high-flow air-cleaner, pipes (or slip-ons), and a good fuel management system (I got the PCV from fuelmoto and love it), and if that's not enough for you just install a hotter cam like a Woods 6-6. The above combination will give you 25-30 more HP/TQ with a proper dynotune.
A stage I will really make a change. I had cams installed on my 103 also, but I would wait until you do the stage I and try it. The Fuel Management system and a tune will make a big difference. You will like it.
You will need to get rid of those weasing stock cams and muffs......
Yep, that's the ticket. Try the Fuel Moto Power Package and some SE255 cams. These cams with the stock compression (9.7:1) will really wake that bike up.
Hahaha....1st throw the SE muffs in the garbage or give them to the needy, then throw a PCIII on it with a bigger air filter,THEN I say Then take it to someone that knows how to Dyno Tune...Now remember..I Said..SOMEONE that KNOWS how To DYNO tune.....
I would say this should run ya up to 1600 bucks depending on the muffs ya go with and what type of Air set up you do....
If ya want it done right spend the money and do it right or if ya like thowin money away go cheep, like a..75.00-150.00 HD download hahaha thats thowin money down the crapper hahahaheeheeheeBwaaaahahaha....

It is an under performer in my opinion too.You ready to spend some money to wake it up??you can be cheap & add cams, high flow A/C kit and a good 2 into 1 system with a good tune & be ok.Or you could spend a small fortune on Good head work, & still do all the above with a cam & compression match, then do the bottom end & have a real runner!!!
