I pulled my cam cover off yesterday to check chain tentioners, and found that the previous owner installed gear drive I need more power for passing (not racing) need it to come on about 2500 rpm. how hard is it going to be to change cams and what tools am i going to need (special Harley tools) any and all help will be welcome thanks, J.
It is always fun to find something good about a used bike that you have purchased and did not know about, that is kinda like winning a scratch off ticket.
If you have a gear drive the PO has already made a cam change. You need to find out what you have now before you can made an informed decision on what to change to.
