Default S.e. 120

Well spring is in the air, and I have the fever. So I stop by the dealer today to chat it up.
As always motors come up and I say wish I had a monster like some I've read about here.
He says lets crunch some #'s on the 120" comes back under 6 grand installed. I say wow.
now for the questions.
1. any one running this set up?
by the way it's the se120 kit. and new cases and a se clutch basket.
2. is the price fair has anyone done better. I know dumb ?
well let's just start there.

4700 in parts without the cases(579 dollars) or the clutch( ? ) or highflow injectors not to mention labor. Dude get it in writing and cause he has made a big mistake somewhere.

I did! you do bring up a couple of things I forgot. Like injectors and comp.release
wire harness. do you think I need the clutch or just a spring kit the clutch was
my idea.
Does anyone know is this a jims kit that HD is selling as there own?
I was being pushed pretty hard and told them I would let them know by Sat.

Your riding style will determine your clutch needs , hd spring will be minimum. Don't forget the roller rockers arms , if you buy SE roller rockers they are made by Jims.

yea Ive looked at the cat. and seen what is in the kit.
I never thought about the rocker arms.
MVA heads in kit suppose to be the replacement to the htcc heads. I guess they come
with the auto comp. release in them. I asked about manual releases and he said there
not drilled for them is ther a difference?
The kit comes with se266e cams I think I would go with a different cam it's a heavy
bike and all and do want tq down low. I have a idea this is going to cost more than I
thought.

You may need to open your breather more with a heavy breather, and open the exhaust with something like a boarzilla, too. Thats another grand. If you don't already have these things. Is he including a tune? and all shop supplies or just labor cost.

Currently there are only 3 air cleaners that will fit the 58mm TB , The Se Heavy Breather(fits the 50 and the 58) , The Se Stage 1 style(it only fits the 58) and one made by Bob Wood. The 58 sticks out farther than the 50 and I had the Stage 1 style and got sick and tired of riding my bike bowlegged so I went with the HB to gain much needed room. Also the Stage 1 style can only be fitted with the HD filter element, no K&N avaiable. Any good 2-1 will be a great choice and there are many good units out there.

I was going to go with the short HB because of the lower fairings. I didn't know
about the dif size of the TB.
As for pipes I'm using V&H monster ovals and thought about using them. Love the
look like the sound. The only upgrade there would be a new 2-1-2 header from
fuelmoto.
the reason for the 120" is to be different. I still want rideability not a drag bike.
would expect mpg to still be in the 40+ range. yet still have a large fun factor
when I'm feeling frisky.
