Default Forward controls on a Street Glide, Pro-Cons?

Never been a fan of boards. Has anyone put forward controls on their bagger?

If so, any issues?

Default Pros and Cons

If you get a good set of controls they'll be fine.
Pros------------ If you're tall, you'll get to stretch out

Cons----------- If You're short you can't reach them

I dont have them but have riden a couple bikes with them.

Pros: adjusability, set them up exactly where you want them.

Cons: only one position for yoyur feet, with boards you can move all over the place. If your just bar hopping its no big dea, ride 1000 mile days it becomes an issue pretty quick!

Don't have them yet on the SG but planning to get them from J Brake. The price isn't bad and they are supposed to allow the use of your E-guards which would give you an alternate place for your feet on long rides.

I have been looking at them too. J Brake is the one I was looking at too. Im 6'2" and a little cramped with the stock boards.

A lot more comfortable for me and I am 6' even with a 32" inseam.

Only con I guess would be its harder to stand up.

Put the Jay Brakes on my 95 that I lowered 2'' all the way around and worked awesome, never dragged in a corner again. Thinkin about putting a set on my 09 I enjoyed them so much.
