I've reached my volume limit with 2" rush slip-ons and the 95" upgrade. Any louder and I won't be able to hear the radio worth a damn. To each his own though.

I got Rivco slip ons for about $200 and took back the 2in. baffles to put the biggest 2.5in baffles in. That still wasn`t loud enough. Took the 2.5`s out removed the packing and slid the baffles in backwards. Now it`s just right and there`s no problem hearing the stereo (all the noise goes back)

I have the V&H True Duals and Oval slip-ons and it's the perfect sound for me.

Another vote for the Jackpots, but if sound is your only concern Rhinehart true duals are pretty tough to beat imho

Yes Monster Ovals aren't very loud that was a plus for me. If I were you I'd just go a head and put the Big Radius pipes on your Road King.

I ran 2500 miles with your setup, MOs with stock headpipes on a 2010. I didn't think they were loud enough, either. I have V&H big radius pipes on my Deuce. I put V&H True Duals on this Winter, there is a big difference in sound. They will never be as loud as the Big Radius, because they go out the back. I also know that it depends on your perspective. I'll bet if you stand behind me, you will notice I am pulling away!

I did think about (for a minute) putting Big Radius pipes on the King, but I want something more for touring and do not want it quite so loud.

Not to mention that they're really heavy and add alot of weight to the back end. 1 monster oval weighs almost as much as 2 stock mufflers.

GM Bagger you are right.. I couldnt belive how much those things weighed compared to stock. I put about a 150 miles on them today and they are kinda growing on me... They sound good just wish they were louder. King Cripps, so you added true duals and kept the MO's is that right?
Thanks everyone... You guys kick A$$

Yeah, spent a weekend morning listening to the bikes come and go at the dealer. How else can you tell what a system sounds like?
