Default Do I have the Stage One D-load?

As the title states, can anyone tell me if my bike has the stage one d-load. I bought this 2002 RK late last summer and it has SE exhaust and an open A/C with a V&H Fuel pak. Just going over it and wanna know if the fuel pak is set right or not. I checked with my local dealer and he states that it wasn't d-loaded there at all but the bike was originally bought elsewhere. I thought a person could get the VIN ran to see if it has the down load. My dealer said many dealers use different software to track such things! So is it possible to find out short of hooking it up to their computers?

A) Can spend $150 and purchase 32312-10 Code Master Service Code Reader which lets you check the current calibration ID

B) Can have the dealer hook it up and check it

C) IF per some small chance the original owner had the work completed prior to delivery, the parts would be listed under the warranty section in the dealer network and the pn# for the download might be listed.

If the bike with Fuelpak is running good, don't worry about it.

Thanks for the reply Dawg. Don't think I am gonna spend the 150 for the code reader. Might have dealer hook it up next time I need to have it there for something. The dealer did check and Stage one was not part of original purchase.
As far as the bike running good.....I don't know! Seems good to me but I am far from expert. Only had real bikes for three years now. Both used, a 2002 Dyna and now this 02' RK. I do get an occasional decel pop, sometimes (rare) a pop between shifts. Runs smooth and pulls strong. I should probably leave well enough alone, huh.

Pull the spark plugs and see what they look like. See if it is lean or rich or good.

To do the plugs the right is it true that I should get it up to temp by riding then while at cruise hit the kill switch and pull in the clutch. Remove the plugs and examine them. Or is it fine to pull back into my drive return to idol then shut it off.
