I have a 09 RoadKing with Python slip-ons, S&S Single Bore Tuned Induction System and PowerCommanderV running the stock Python/Big Sucker Map. I have increased the fuel flow to the rear cylinder by two clicks based on the recommendation of my indie mechanic because it appears the rear cylinder shut off was engaging after coming to a stop, after riding the bike for about 20 minutes.
This setup worked fine for about year until yesterday when the check engine light came on. I checked it again tonight and the light came on right after I started the bike. I checked the DTCs and had a P0572 code which I found means Brake Switch Low (whatever the hell that means ). I cleared the code and started the bike, however three things changed. The check engine light doesnt come on at all when I turn the switch on prior to starting the engine, I dont hear the fuel injectors spin up even though the bike starts fine and no DTC codes.
I did use Harleys fuel additive with a full tank of regular yesterday. However, Ive used in the past with the same setup on this bike. Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations. Stan
