Default Long Ride

So my Clearview shield that I have had for about 8 months broke and there is no warranty on it. Not real happy about that since it seems to be a product failure. Anyway, I am looking at a Long Ride shield and am wondering if anybody is using the Ultra Flip from them. The standard flip looks about like the recurve from Clearview, and I was pretty happy with the protection that provided. I'm just wondering if the ultra flip gives even more protection or if it causes more turbulance and buffeting since it is so close to vertical. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

No help here with the Long Ride shields. Can you give us the scoop on how your clearview shield broke, I have one and am curious. Thanks.

i've got the longride 10" with the regular flip, i didn't know there was an ultra flip, but i'm very happy with my long ride shield. it raises the windstream to about an inch above the top of my helmet, and i look over it while riding. i'm really a fan of the longride shields, for me, it's been a great product, and unlike some plastics, the long ride can be polished if needed because there's no hard coating to deal with. by the way i'm 6' 4" tall and the 10" fits me just right.

I have the 10" ultra flip and love it. I have no wind buffeting on the highway with my 1/2 helmet and can actually hear the stereo better. I highly recommend it as an alternative to stock.

I have the longride 10" Ultra in dark tint and like it.
Previous windshield was a Clearview 9.5" the Ultra seems to be
better as far as wind buffeting on the half helment.
The 10" Ultra actually is about 9.75" in height.
