I'm looking for some input on mods for my upcoming purchase. I wiil be buying a new Electra Glide in approx. 12 months. ( got to pay off the wifes car). I am 6'3" and around 300 lbs. and when I sit on the bike I feel just a little cramped. My questions are
a) does the Tallboy seat that HD sells help w/ room and is it comfy
b) Are their diffrent bars that you would recommend ( not into Ape Hangers)
c) What about floorboard relocation for extra room. ( I have been told on the 07 that they are adjustable, but not sure) I apreciate any input I can get on this as I want to do it right from the start and enjoy more time riding than accessorizing. OK I know that's imposssible but I'm gonna try!!!
BOUNTYHUNTER IS RIGHT. BUT THE TALL PROFILE SEAT WILL BE GOOD AND THE FLOORBOARDS DO ADJUST A BIT. YOU MAY TRY THE HARLEY CRUISER BARS OR CONSIDER BEACH BARS.
