The o2 sensors are to big to fit into my pips, Vance & Hines Big Shot duals, the new pipe bungs are the same size as the stock pipe. At this point I am not going to drill holes and put the bungs in at this point so I may switch to a different tuner that uses the stock o2 sensors. Anyone have any info on this please.
The only thing i can think is to get a hold of vance and hines and talk to there tech line dept because they only make 2 design auto tune kits and i have not heared of anybody having issues with o2 sensors the AT 100 is for HD designs and if the old sensors match and everything is good to go then call dynojet and let them know could be a mix up somewhere
You must have a 2010 HD right? Far as I know the 07-09 bikes used 18mm O2 sensors and the 10's use a smaller bung because they switched to a wide band sensor that is a different size than previous years.. I think the PCV autotune uses the std 18mm size bungs for pre 10 bikes. Maybe give Dynojet a call and let them know maybe they have a different autotune kit for the new bikes.......
I suppose they could have made a mistake and gave me the wrong one for the 2010, Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
You have to have the new bungs welded into your pipe for the 2010's. They dont use the smaller stock bungs. Read the dynojet site. The only difference between the Autotune kits for 09 and 10 is the 10 kit ,AT-100b, comes with the o2 bungs which have to be installed on your pipes so you can use the wideband sensors.
The Dynojet AT-100B is an AT-100 but it includes weld in 18mm bungs for 2010 Touring models. Neither Bosch or any other sensor manufacturer currently is producing 12mm Wideband sensors. What I recommend to PC-V users with 2010 bikes is to use 2009 exhausts which have the 18mm bungs in the correct location and are otherwise exactly the same. On our Jackpot Head Pipes they have 12mm and 18mm bungs.
Jamie, thanks for the input, I sent you an email. I have already put on the V & H pipes for my 2010 so changing is kinda out of the question but I would be interested in doing something else with the fuel management system, I can take this one back. I really like the exhaust so I dont want to change it but if I can't do something else. I will. Thanks Matt
