Default Horn Vibration Fixed

Photos added see post #11. This is so easy to do.

Read all the bitchin and no solutions, other than relocating the horn, to the flopping around like a spastic poorly Moco design horn mount.

Solution - remove the rubber isolator and chuck it, install in its place a 5/16 - 1/2 thick x 1-1/2 diameter spacer made out of aluminum, steel, hard plastic, whatever just not rubber. I used 5/16” aluminum, made the spacer by cutting out a disk with a 1-1/2” hole saw, then drilling out the center to fit a 5/16” bolt. Put a 5/16” bolt into the back side of the mounting bracket, then new spacer, horn bracket, washer and cap nut.

Problem solved!

You might as well go down to the dealer and buy another bracket. I bet you are going to need it before long. Just my opinion!

I just replaced mine. Goes under this skull cover. The dealer said they go through them like water. $40.00 bucks a pop. He also said they have been revised about 6 times the horn. The latest revision is letter "F".......

What I found wierd is it comes with this really no bull shi% black powdercoated hanging bracket for those VSR Buell thingys.....My point is the damn bracket has to be worth 12 bucks in Harley world and Harley puts one in every box!
Why did I have to pay for that??

I just wanted the damn horn not the horn hardware and bracket for Buel bikes....

+1, I doubt the MOCO would go to any extra expense involved in building their bikes unless they can justify it somehow.
