changed mine out , looks much better and there was a post on here a few week ago on having lock problems and not being able to get it open or get it to stay shut . that is what really sold me

i have the push button like it much better than having to use key.

I just took mine out because it was rattling. But I did like the convenience and looks.

Stopped and picked up the smooth push button after work and just finished installing it. looks great and will be much simpler to use. Great info here.

Ya I changed mine too, looks better and no digging for the key.

the button for the gas door was one of the first things i did to my 08 streetglide a couple of years ago when i got the bike. no more fooling around with a silly key that i can't remember which pocket it's in. most people wouldn't know how to open the gas door anyway unless they're familiar with touring harleys.

Have had it on the entire time I have had the bike, knew I would hate digging around for a key all the time. Now if Harley would hing the door from the top it would be perfect.
