Default Wind Advisory!

Ok,, well I was looking forward to another ride to Jefferson City today for my job. HOWEVER there are sustained winds out of the S/SW today of 20mph. With gusts up to 40mph. I am still going to ride, but it sounds like it's going to be more WORK THAN FUN!
I'll report back tonight if I make it in one piece, I imagine I'll be pretty wore out!

Have the same thing here today 25 - 35 sustained winds with gusts over 40...Takes me an hour to get to work...Road this morning and it wasn't bad. I wouldn't worry about it...I've ridden in the same or worse before.

Windy as all get-out here yesterday. Got blown all over the place on the Bay Bridge. Big difference between riding the 'Train and the Limited in the wind, the Batwing acts like a sail.

A couple of years ago, the wife and I rode from Atlanta to the Grand Canyon.
On I-40 in Arizona, we encountered wind at 45 gusting to 70.
Needless to say, we found the nearest motel and waited it out.
A thrilling experience, to be sure.

Yesterday we had wind up to 45mph and gusts to 63 mph.

Was kind of cool when you are going with the wind, not so much with a cross breeze (can you even call it a cross breeze at over 40mph?). Today will be pretty much the same.

Yep, windy as a Mo Fo here in Kansas too. They say its so windy in Kansas because Oklahoma blows and Nebraska sucks, I dont know about that but it is definitely not fun to ride in.

A forecast of 5 to 20 mph here today but so far it's only about 7 mph.

Wind doesn't bother me but when I was in Las Vegas last year it was really WINDY! Had gusts hitting around 60 on the interstate and made for some interesting riding!
