So a "guy" I know owes me some dough...........cant pay but he will give me these "new in the box" SCREAMIN EAGLE cyl heads........There for a 103" and up the label says.....So since my ultra limited isnt exactly what I want for power I thought I would start getting all the parts together for next winters build.......Buddy of mine just did a 103" with woods TW-5-6's cams, screamin eagle flat tops and sent his heads out to get "freshened". Thing makes crazy torque!!
I plan on the same cams........
So my qustion is do I use these heads? OR use these heads and send them out to get "freshened"?? or use my stock heads, freshened up?? I WILL NOT be changing pistons!! Just cams, bearings, pushrods and heads.......(oh and maybe roller rockers??)
Thanks for the help!!!

Depends on how much $ he owes you and how much the heads are worth, I would think..
If you didn't want to keep the heads you could always sell them on this forum. I would think that they would bring $700-900 dollars.

H e dont owe me much......... From what I can find they have the heavy springs, big valves and are predrilled for compression releases........I am just concerned if I should tryt them or send them out......cash really isnt a factor I guess........
Wont work, you need heads that have the boss for the front motor mount. the -03 heads do not have that boss!
I am now told that there are a couple head shops around that can machine the boss in very easily...........and its inexpensive......
So Limiteds come with the police bike pistons in them, If these will work I have access to another new set. Or should I just clean up the O.E.M. heads.........??
