Is this harness a stock piece I can order from a 2010? thanks
Yes, it's available at the dealers. It's actually a part for Classics, ultras, dynas and others than the Streetglide. The reason it's not listed for a streetglide is the older streetglides turn signals are so close to the center brake light it's against DOT standards to include them as brake lights and turn signals. But on the 2010 the center light was dropped and it became legal.
I just installed a new led running light for the rear fender that also doubles as the brake light under my brake/turn signals on my 2010 flhx, it was $129 but well worth it imo.
Did you figure this out i am about to install a complete 2010 street glide rear fender on a 2010 egc and i have the same question thanks.
I have it working but I'm not real happy with it. I had to use the junction block from inside the tail light & mount it up under the fender. I also used the harley tail light converter.
Its working fine but I'm still trying to find a better set up.
Honestly it should be easy. The tail turn signals on the 09 are the brake light assy for the 2010. There is a wire harness that is used to make the turn signals act as brake lights and allow them to also operate as turnsignals. That should be all you need. You will still have the wiring for the old main brake light to hide but it leaves it there in case you ever need it , Then it's a matter of changing the amber lens' to red. That should be it.

I just bought a 2010FLHX Red Hot Sunglo (lovin it). Just wanted to say that I like how the passing lights look on your bike. I just ordered the kit and will have them installed on the 28th! Can't wait!

I will be doing this install on saturday, i just got the wiring diagram for the 2010 models,it looks like i will be able to just plug in to existing connector under left side cover,i will let you know how it went thanks.

I did the install and its working fine, i was able to connect directly to the harness under left side cover, i have a 2010 egc, looking at the electrical diagram for the 2009 it looks like you can just use the connector off your original harness they both use the same six wires only differance are the connectors.
