Does anybody know what it would take to put the 2010 tail light set up on my 09 street glide?
I'm putting a 2010 paint set on and don't want to mess with cutting the hole for the 09 set up.
im getting ready to pull the taillight assemblys off of my 2010 sg to replace them with screaming eagle light assemblys . do you have them allready as mine will be for sale shortly as when the new ones get here ?

I already have the 2010 set up. I'm just trying to figure out the wiring before I tear into it. I'd like to do the cvo set up but can't swing the bucks. That will look good on your bike.

Please let me know when you put them for sale. I am interested in getting rid of the large extra taillight my 2010 came with in Canada.
Honestly it should be easy. The tail turn signals on the 09 are the brake light assy for the 2010. There is a wire harness that is used to make the turn signals act as brake lights and allow them to also operate as turnsignals. That should be all you need. You will still have the wiring for the old main brake light to hide but it leaves it there in case you ever need it , Then it's a matter of changing the amber lens' to red. That should be it.
The detachable tour-pak setup for an Ultra Classic requires a license plate relocation on my '09. I'm going to be mounting the 2010 Road King Standard turn signal light bar and license plate mount onto my '09 Ultra Classic.
