I buy quite a bit from the actual dealer but I also go to eGlide Goodies and J&P Cycles. J&P has a much wider selection and has the feature you are looking for. However, prices tend to be close to what my local dealer sells their stuff.

Dennis Kirk also has the feature where you can plug your year and model in. However, I generally know what I am looking for so I go to the place that sells it cheapest. Like if it is tires, you can go to jakewilson.com or cyclegear.com or whoever is having the sale, etc. If you're looking for HD parts, then try zanottimotors.com or chicago hd online or call Jenni at Tri-County, etc.

As others have mentioned, for HD parts Zanotti and Lake Shore are good. If it's not an HD part I check the DS Fatbook online to get an idea of the price then I do a Google search for the best prices. I recently was looking for some parts and gave Phat Performance Parts a try. They had the best price and free shipping over $99 but the parts are back ordered and I am still waiting. Watch out for Cruiser Customizing, I tried them a while back and they charged my card at the time of the order and shipped a month later. Fool me once...

Another HDF parts option is LSHD1.com.

I think that when buying online it's always best to do ALL of your research prior to ordering. If you are looking for HD parts or accessories, get them from the HD site or ask here.

The online stores are mostly about no-nonsense volume sales. They want to hear your part number, your credit card number and your address. You also should be prepared for some lag time or backorders. Sometimes it's better to call them to check on availability and shipping schedule prior to ordering.

Bottom line is that you may have to be prepared with part No. info and sometimes be willing to wait a little longer in exchange for discounts like 20% off and free shipping. If you want to ask a lot of questions, get free coffee, hand-holding, get your part today, etc........... that's what the dealer is for.

Surdyke ( https://www.surdyke.com/ ) is a good soure for HD parts and accessories also. They give 20% off and are currently running free shipping but you have to know your part number. Easy enough to find the number on other sites.

Of the non-dealers, JP Cycles and Dennis Kirk are both great to deal with. Kirk especially -- Boy, those guys get the sh*t out the door...

Default There are quite a few

but 3 come to mind.
Eastern performance
JP Cycles
St Paul HD
I have bought many items from these folks online and have been very happy every time.
Also it would be a good bet that all the sponsors of this forum are good folks to deal with as well.

There's a company here in CA called BKRider. I've used them several times and have been 100% happy with their service, pricing, and delivery times.

You have to know what you're lookin for, though. Site isn't set up quite the way you specified ie punching in your bike and getting a parts list. Very few parts are specific to any one model anyway. If you can do the research yourself and get part numbers BKRider is a good option if you're looking for aftermarket parts. Pretty sure they can order OEM parts too as they're located very close to Laidlaw's

Eastern Performance will always beat their advertised internet prices if you CALL and ASK! Motorcyclesuperstore.com will also. For HD parts I use my local dealer, where I can usually get 20% off with their HOG promotions and LSHD.com when I cannot. I really pays to do your research so you know what you want, then negotiating a price is the final move
