I PROUDLY fly my USA flag and a " Don't Tread on Me ". I want the attention, I have had many people say they can see my flags from a distance. Both are 11 x 15 with USA on right hand side. The people who don't want an American flag waving our country's Heritage and Honor probably support ABC TV's new ruling on no one allowed to wear Flag lapel pins.

God Bless you and God Bless America! I have not been watching ABC news ever since I heard about this and I did check it out on Snoops. They really are discouraging their news folks from wearing flag pins on their lapels because it may "OFFEND" some viewers. They will not offend me, 'cause I ain't watching them any more!
Anybody got any ideas on Street Glide flag mounts? Don't want the cheap plastic saddlebag mounts and that's all I can seem to find. I may have to get my buddy that works in a machine shop to fab up something and have it chromed. Custom made.......lol

What size flag mount do I need for the stock Harley luggage rack?
I made my own. I took a chunk of aluminum about 2" long and 1" square. Drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the middle of it and then sliced it in two with a chop saw. I took it and polished it with a buffer to make it shine. I taped it back together and drilled a 1/4 inch hole in each end. Tapped out both ends and installed a 1/4x1" bolt in one end. Used a 16" piece of threaded rod and two lock nuts and installed it into to other hole. Tightened it down snug over the center of the luggage rack with the threaded rod in a vertical position. Cut a 3 1/2" in piece of Chrome Downtube for a sink and slipped it over the threaded rod. Placed washer over threaded rod with a small hole drilled in the outside edge. Then cut another piece of down tube 9" long and slipped it over rod. Add another washer as before. Top off with a Nylon lock nut and snug it down, Then back it off 1/4 turn so the flag will fly freely. Top the threaded rod off with a chrome final for a lamp from Home Depot. Install 9x12 flag on the washers with small key rings and enjoy. Been flying mine like this for years and it still looks great.
Wish I had Pics but I can't figure out how to post them.
