I installed on my 2008 ultra the V&H true dual header pipes, Screaming' Eagle Thunder Street Performance Slip-On Mufflers 65115-10 and the HD stage 1 high flow a/c setup. The dealer did the ECM re flash, my bike runs great and I get 47 mpg. I purchased the XIED'S but have not installed them and I am not sure I need them.

The slip on mufflers are a little loud as they were made for a 2010 bike with the cat in the header. However, I like the sound they make.

Power Commander V loaded from Fuel Moto, Rinehart Slip-ons(do not disappoint) Ness stage 1 A/C, for my 09 SG and it runs fantastic... Very Happy!!

If you want to keep your stock mufflers, just get a K&N AC and PCV from Fuel Moto.
They have a canned map for stock mufflers which works well on my '04 RK.
