Default 2010 RG Fairing Mounts and Non-Vented Lowers

Does anyone know if the non-vented lowers will still work with the new 2010 RG fairing mounts? Anyone with experience on handling of 2010 fairing over previous years RGs.

I'm going to guess not. The old style lowers came with a replacement for the rear part of the fairing mount clamp that has a tapped hole in it. The top of the lower screws into the clamp. The new fairing mounts clamp more to the center of the engine guard and sort of flair out to the fairing. Trying to mount the old lowers would move them in and I believe they would hit something before the hole in the lower aligned with the tapped hole in the clamp.

Not only as stated above, the lower fairing as a pocket molded into it that the lower brackets lines up with. If used with the new style brackets, the lowers would not sit flush on the crash bar.
