Fuel Filter change

I'm getting ready to perform my 25k service and changing the fuel filter is part of it. The manual says to use the Harley clamp tool xxxx to clamp the new filter on. Do I need this tool or is there a cheaper tool or different way to install it?

pm dawg and he can walk you through it without using a tool. dawg changed mine when we had my tank off for my big bore job.

You dont need the tool. A good pair of wire cutters will work....carefully....Sears does carry a version of the tool thats pretty cheap though, or a auto parts store...

I suggest changing the 10 bolts and canopy seal as well while you are there. Bout 60 bucks for all the parts.
